INTRODUCTION
An end point is a place where human ability stops, options are exhausted, and logic fails.
It is the moment when fear peaks, hope seems unreasonable, and prayer feels like the only remaining language.
Yet, Scripture repeatedly reveals a powerful truth:
A miracle at the end point is a divine act that occurs when man can do no more, so that God alone is glorified.
God deliberately allows His people to reach certain limits, not to destroy them, but to reveal His supremacy, power, and covenant faithfulness.
KEY TRUTH
When the way ends for man, the way opens for God.
End points are not God’s failures; they are God’s stages.
I. MIRACLE AT THE END POINT OF ESCAPE
Exodus 14:10–20 – The Red Sea Encounter
Context
- Israel had obeyed God and left Egypt.
- Pharaoh pursued them with chariots.
- In front: Red Sea
- Behind: Egyptian army
- Left & right: Wilderness
This was a total end point.
Human Reaction
- Fear (v.10)
- Complaints (v.11–12)
- Regret for obedience
Divine Intervention
God did not remove the Red Sea immediately. Instead:
- He calmed their fear before changing their situation.
- He positioned His presence (pillar of fire and cloud).
- He divided the impossible.
“Stand still and see the salvation of the LORD…” (Exod. 14:13)
Lessons
- God sometimes allows enemies to come close so His power can be clearly seen.
- What looks like a dead end may be God’s setup for deliverance.
- The sea did not open until Moses obeyed and lifted his rod.
Prophetic Insight
If the sea does not open, it will drown your enemies. Either way, God wins.
II. MIRACLE AT THE END POINT OF LIFE
2 Kings 13:20–21 – A Dead Man Raised by Dead Bones
Context
- Prophet Elisha was dead and buried.
- A dead man was being hurriedly buried due to enemy raids.
- The corpse touched Elisha’s bones.
End Point Defined
Yet…
“The man revived and stood up on his feet.” (v.21)
Key Revelation
- God’s power outlives the vessel He used.
- The anointing of God is not limited by death.
- What God deposits in obedience never expires.
Lessons
- Your situation may look beyond revival, but God is not finished.
- Even after apparent loss, God can still release life.
- What men consider over, God may use as a resurrection point.
Spiritual Principle
III. MIRACLE AT THE END POINT OF CAPTIVITY
Acts 12:7–10 – Peter’s Supernatural Prison Break
Context
- Peter was chained between soldiers.
- Iron gates.
- Heavy security.
- Execution scheduled for the next day.
This was a legal, physical, and spiritual dead end.
Divine Action
- Light shone in the prison (revelation precedes deliverance).
- Chains fell off (God breaks what man cannot unlock).
- Gates opened on their own accord.
Peter walked out of what should have been impossible.
Lessons
- God does not need keys to open doors.
- Prayer can reach places where hands cannot.
- What looks permanent can change suddenly.
“Suddenly…” (Acts 12:7); God’s timing word.
COMMON THREAD ACROSS THE THREE TEXTS
| Situation | Human Limit | God’s Response |
|---|---|---|
| Red Sea | Trapped | Way made |
| Grave | Dead | Life restored |
| Prison | Chained | Freedom released |
Conclusion of the Pattern
- God waits until human confidence collapses.
- God intervenes when His glory cannot be shared.
- God turns end points into entry points.
WHY GOD ALLOWS END POINTS
“That they may know that I am the LORD.” (Exod. 14:18)
APPLICATION FOR TODAY
- You may be at an end point financially.
- You may be at an end point medically.
- You may be at an end point emotionally or spiritually.
But if God is present, the story is not over.
Your end point may be God’s entry point.
WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT
- Don’t panic at the wall, God is about to create a door.
- Don’t bury it too quickly, God resurrects forgotten things.
- Don’t accept chains as final, God still breaks prisons.
CLOSING DECLARATION
I declare that every Red Sea before you shall open,
every buried promise shall rise again,
and every prison holding your destiny shall release you,
in the mighty name of Jesus.
FINAL PRAYER
Father, at every point where human strength fails, arise and glorify Yourself.
Turn our dead ends into divine testimonies.
Let miracles speak at our end points, in Jesus’ name.
Amen.
