TELL GOD ABOUT YOUR NEEDS!

Matthew 7:7-8: "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you."

INTRODUCTION

Every human being has needs. Some have financial needs, others need healing, deliverance, employment, children, peace, marital settlement, divine direction, restoration, forgiveness, or spiritual revival.

The greatest question is not whether you have needs, but who you take your needs to.

Many people tell everyone about their problems except God. They announce their troubles to friends, relatives, social media, herbalists, occult powers, politicians, and wealthy people before they pray.

God is asking today:

"Why have you not told Me?"

Prayer is simply telling God about your needs with faith, humility, repentance, and complete dependence on Him.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO TELL GOD ABOUT YOUR NEEDS?

It means:

• Bringing every burden before God.
• Depending on Him instead of men.
• Trusting His power and timing.
• Waiting for His perfect answer.
• Believing that He alone can solve impossible situations.

Philippians 4:6 says:

"Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God."

Notice the Bible says everything.

Nothing is too small.
Nothing is too difficult.

WHY MUST YOU TELL GOD FIRST?

1. God already knows your needs.

Matthew 6:8

"Your Father knoweth what things ye have need of before ye ask Him."

God knows.

But He still wants you to ask.

Prayer demonstrates:

• dependence
• faith
• humility
• relationship

2. God cares deeply about His children.

Matthew 6:30-32

If God clothes flowers...

If He feeds birds...

How much more will He care for His children?

God never abandons His own.

3. God has unlimited power.

Jeremiah 32:27

"Is there anything too hard for Me?"

• No sickness.
• No delay.
• No barrenness.
• No debt.
• No witchcraft.
• No family curse.
• No mountain.
• Nothing is impossible with God.

BIBLICAL EXAMPLES OF PEOPLE WHO TOLD GOD THEIR NEEDS

1. King Hezekiah

Isaiah 38:1-6

The prophet announced his death.

Instead of complaining to people...

He turned his face to the wall.

He prayed.

God added fifteen years.

Lesson:

Prayer can reverse bad news.

2. The Leper

Mark 1:40-42

"If Thou wilt, Thou canst make me clean."

Jesus touched him.

Immediately he was cleansed.

3. Blind Bartimaeus

Mark 10:51-52

Jesus asked:

"What wilt thou that I should do unto thee?"

Bartimaeus stated his need clearly.

"I want to receive my sight."

Jesus answered immediately.

4. The Canaanite Woman

Matthew 15:21-28

She refused discouragement.

She persisted.

Her daughter received deliverance.

Faith never gives up.

5. The Publican

Luke 18:13

"God be merciful to me a sinner."

He went home justified.

6. The Thief on the Cross

Luke 23:42

"Lord, remember me."

Jesus answered instantly.

Salvation came.

7. David

Psalm 51

Instead of hiding his sin...

He confessed.

God forgave him.

WHAT DO YOU DO IN TIMES OF NEED?

Many people:

• panic
• complain
• fear
• borrow unnecessarily
• consult evil powers
• blame people
• become depressed

God says:

Pray first.

Prayer must be your first reaction, not your last option.

WHO DO YOU APPROACH IN TIME OF NEED?

Your helper determines your outcome.

If you approach:

God

You receive:

• peace
• wisdom
• lasting miracle
• divine protection
• joy
• eternal blessing

If you approach Satan...

You may receive temporary relief.

But eventually:

• sorrow
• bondage
• affliction
• fear
• destruction
• eternal regret

THE GIFTS OF SATAN NEVER LAST

John 10:10

"The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy."

The devil gives...

But he collects far more.

Examples:

• ritual wealth
• occult promotion
• fake miracles
• demonic protection
• satanic covenants

Their prices are hidden.

The consequences are terrible.

SHORTCUTS CUT SHORT DESTINIES

Many seek shortcuts through:

• occultism
• fraudulent practices
• bribery
• corruption
• ritual sacrifices
• false prophets

Every shortcut has a hidden cost.

God's blessings require patience.

Proverbs 10:22

"The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and He addeth no sorrow with it."

WHAT HAPPENS TO THOSE WHO TAKE THEIR PROBLEMS TO THE DEVIL?

They may experience:

• spiritual slavery
• family bondage
• repeated afflictions
• mysterious losses
• untimely death
• torment
• fear
• destruction of generations

Satan never gives free gifts.

Every satanic gift has dangerous conditions attached.

WHAT GOD GIVES

When God blesses:

• peace follows
• joy follows
• righteousness follows
• protection follows
• increase follows
• testimonies last

His blessings have no hidden sorrow.

THERE IS NO PROBLEM GOD CANNOT SOLVE

God can solve:

• infertility
• unemployment
• poverty
• sickness
• addiction
• depression
• delayed marriage
• family battles
• witchcraft attacks
• generational curses
• impossible situations

Nothing is impossible with Him.

WHO SHOULD BE YOUR FIRST CONTACT?

• Not your uncle.
• Not politicians.
• Not native doctors.
• Not occult powers.
• Not false prophets.

God must remain your first contact.

Psalm 121:1-2

"My help cometh from the Lord."

QUALIFICATIONS OF WHO YOU APPROACH FOR HELP

The one you approach should possess:

• unlimited power
• truthfulness
• faithfulness
• holiness
• compassion
• wisdom
• love
• ability to protect
• ability to sustain
• eternal authority

Only God possesses all these qualities perfectly.

WHAT QUALIFIES YOU TO ASK GOD?

1. Genuine repentance

Psalm 51

2. Faith

Hebrews 11:6

3. Humility

Luke 18:13

4. Obedience

John 14:15

5. Forgiveness

Mark 11:25

6. Persistence

Matthew 15:21-28

7. Holiness

Isaiah 59:1-2

8. Sincerity

No hypocrisy.

No double life.

9. Complete dependence on God

Trust Him alone.

10. Thanksgiving

Gratitude attracts greater blessings.

WHAT MUST YOU DO FOR GOD TO ATTEND TO YOUR NEEDS?

• Repent sincerely.
• Surrender your life to Christ.
• Pray consistently.
• Study God's Word.
• Obey His commandments.
• Live a holy life.
• Reject satanic alternatives.
• Wait patiently.
• Trust God's timing.
• Continue praising Him.

DELIVERANCE NUGGETS

• Every problem has an expiry date in God's presence.

• Prayer changes situations before situations change people.

• Satan advertises quick results but hides the terrible cost.

• God may delay, but He never disappoints.

• Heaven never runs out of solutions.

• Every genuine miracle glorifies God.

• The greatest Helper is the Holy Spirit.

• When God becomes your source, men become channels, not your savior.

• Prayerlessness is often the doorway to desperation and wrong decisions.

• God's "No" or "Wait" is sometimes His protection from future sorrow.

SELF-EXAMINATION QUESTIONS

1. Who do I run to first when trouble comes?

2. Have I trusted people more than God?

3. Am I seeking shortcuts instead of God's process?

4. Is there any hidden sin blocking my prayers?

5. Do I truly believe God can solve my problem?

6. Have I entered into any ungodly covenant because of my needs?

7. Am I willing to wait for God's perfect timing?

8. Is my prayer life stronger than my worry life?

ALTAR CALL

Jesus is still calling sinners today. If your life is not surrendered to Him, your greatest need is not money, marriage, or healing, it is salvation. Come to Him in repentance, confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and receive His gift of eternal life. As you become God's child, you gain boldness to approach His throne of grace for mercy and help in every time of need (Hebrews 4:16).

DELIVERANCE PRAYER POINTS

1. Father, forgive every sin that has hindered my prayers, in Jesus' name.

2. O Lord, let every power diverting my blessings be destroyed by fire, in Jesus' name.

3. Every satanic covenant entered into knowingly or unknowingly, break by the blood of Jesus, in Jesus' name.

4. Every spirit of fear, doubt, and unbelief, depart from my life now, in Jesus' name.

5. O God, arise and become my first and only source of help, in Jesus' name.

6. Every evil voice directing me away from God, be silenced forever, in Jesus' name.

7. Every power sponsoring repeated disappointments in my life, die in Jesus' name.

8. Lord Jesus, meet me at the point of my greatest need today, in Jesus' name.

9. Every hidden altar speaking against my destiny, catch fire, in Jesus' name.

10. Every curse of delay, stagnation, and frustration, be broken, in Jesus' name.

11. Father, open doors no man can shut, in Jesus' name.

12. Every inherited bondage affecting my progress, break now, in Jesus' name.

13. Holy Spirit, baptize me with unwavering faith and holy perseverance, in Jesus' name.

14. I reject every counterfeit solution from the kingdom of darkness, in Jesus' name.

15. Father, let my life become a testimony of Your power and faithfulness, in Jesus' name.

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS

• I declare that the Lord shall hear your cry and answer you speedily, in Jesus' name.

• Every impossible situation before you shall become a testimony.

• Every satanic substitute for God's blessing in your life shall be exposed and destroyed.

• The Lord will provide for your needs according to His riches in glory.

• Every chain of delay and disappointment is broken today.

• Doors of divine favor, promotion, healing, restoration, and breakthroughs are opened over your life.

• The God who answered Hezekiah, Bartimaeus, the Canaanite woman, David, and the repentant thief shall answer you.

• Your prayers shall not return empty, and your testimony shall glorify God.

• The peace, joy, and lasting blessings that come from the Lord shall remain in your life and household.

• This week, you will experience divine intervention, supernatural provision, and undeniable testimonies, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
